This school year has not allowed me a lot of time to do much blogging, but I did remember this fall to collect some great tools that I have learned about over the past several months to put in my Web2.0 Advent Calendar. Last year, I was reminded by a colleague about the calendar in late November, so I really needed to scramble to get it ready for the beginning of December. This year I started by creating a Calendar Tools? folder on my Chrome bookmark menu bar. When I came across a good tool during the Summer Tech Institute, at the ACTEM conference, or through my Professional Learning Community, I would simply add it to my bookmark folder. When it came time to create this year's calendar, I had a good variety of tools to include. Some did not make the cut even.
For those who don't know what I am talking about, two years ago I started putting together a web site in the form of an advent calendar. Each day was a link to one of my favorite web 2.0 tools that could be used in the classroom. This is the third advent calendar I have put together for you all to enjoy. Feel free to open one new tool each day. If it is something you might want to use, bookmark it. As an added bonus, I have placed on the new calendar a link to last year's advent calendar, which includes a link to the calendar from the year before. I hope you enjoy opening a new tool each day.
